Free Lance Post       Jesus To Me

This week has been pretty good. I am looking forward for some of the upcoming things this week. During the week I have gone to church, to school, to practice, and hung out with my friends. On church we have learned about God and his marvelous ways.On this port I would like to express my views on who Jesus is to me. To me He is more than just a historical figure, He in fact is so much more. Altogether He is the king, the son of God and savior. Personally to me he is not just a part of life, but he is life himself. He is my strength when I'm weary, He is my counselor when I am sad, He is my protector when I am in fear, He is my inspiration and motivation. I do not believe in Him because my parents or other people told me to do so, but I believe because I have every reason to. Every morning that I wake up has been a new way for His mercy.  Some people may contradict this but I know what I believe and what I do is  real.  He still lives and there is a reason why He still is the most influential and well known after 2000 years. His teachings are not about how to be religious and exclude others, they are about loving each other in perfect peace. They are not about how to get richer and wealthier, they are about how wealthy love is and the real things that matter. They are not about rejecting and hurting others, they are about forgiveness. All these things and many more He thought  to us. It is not a tradition or religion that I am striving for, it is the Living God.  Many people have become sensitive about this topic, but I see no good reason why. Why can we not talk about the most important things in life. After all if we believe, why are we restricted to express of this.
